Construct The Moment - 'Night to Day'

University Room re-creation

For this group project i took the role of project manager, our aim was to re-create an area of our university building and implement a storyline surrounding the space.

We focused on a cat that was often seen walking around the grounds of the university, and explored the idea of what was happening to him throughout his day and in his mind.

This resulted in 'Night to Day'

Our focus hoped between two main spaces, the inside of our first year university room, and a liminal space created in order to convey the cat's (Robert) life outside of the university grounds and his headspace.

We used a multitude of skills throughout the project, focusing on construction, model making scenic painting, lighting, projection and puppetry.
